PREMIUM STEAKS:
We take pride in each of our premium steaks. These are not supermarket steaks on Styrofoam trays, nor are they 10# boxes of frozen, mass-produced, machine cut steaks that are cut from un-graded or un-aged beef. At A. Thomas, each of our premium steaks are hand-cut from Aged USDA Graded Prime and Choice grain-fed beef. These well marbled steaks are cut-to-order and then vacuum packaged individually. Whether you choose to serve them to your guests or give them to someone special as a gift, you can be assured that their quality will be compared to steaks served in expensive, white tablecloth restaurants.

We also select only the finest fresh pork, veal and lamb for processing to insure that the chops and roasts you receive from A. Thomas are among the highest quality products available.


Beef Steak cooking temperatures

The best way to judge doneness of a steak is by temperature.

130 degrees rare

130-135 medium rare

141-150 medium well done

156 over well-done


To test, insert a cooking thermometer in the thickest part of the meat well away from bone. Test in several places.
